In the books and even maybe in this site, claims that they're pure bloods. For those who don't know, pure bloods are wizards or witches that only have wizard blood that also were born from wizard origin. But by definition, it is said in a way that it's hinted that there are no pure bloods because of the reasons that I'll say below. Everyone knows that everything must have a beginning, even in myths and stories. It's the case of wizards that's for sure. Unless it begun at the same time that humanity begun (which would surprise me but even there it has their origins in other kinds of animals) they must have parents. The parents of the first wizard MUST be muggles or else he wouldn't be the first wouldn't he? Just there, he isn't a pure blood: a is a muggle born. And his children has no choice but to be half blood. After him, others joined from muggle parents and even today, new wizards from muggle origins join the wizard community.

In Conclusion, or should I say conclusions:

1)There never were pure bloods because their very ancient ancestors were muggles.

2)I'm dumb to have wasted 10 minutes of my life just to explain a logic that contradicts every law of humanity from a book universe. Congrats, you wasted from 2 to 3 minutes of your life reading my theory that makes sense. We should get a life.

no there would be pure bloods. their pure bloods because their parent are muggle-born and they where both wizards their sons/daughters would be pure-blood. so yes their are pure bloods.

Exactly, no he isn't. Harry is the son of James and Lily Potter. James is "Pure Blood" and Lily is Muggleborn and they say that Harry is Half Blood so actually, you just contradicted yourself.
