I am starting work on the quidditch game, the flagship game for the site. It will be multiplayer, much like the older quidditch game. This time I will be focusing on optimizing the game so there is -no- network lag and -no- slow frame rates. Its going to be hard but I am confident.

If you have suggestions for this quidditch game, how you think it could be better than the old one, then post them here.

why is older quidditch not working???!!!

Oh I see, when you try to land your character is getting stuck in the falling motion forever. Okay I am going to have a look at that today, thank you for reporting it in the glitch thread and here, perfect.

why i cant play older quidditch. it sais that team is full and remove bot...

If it gives you that error try typing /reset into the chat box. I also fixed the glitch that kept players from launching off... Geez that whole game is so bug ridden I cant wait to replace it.

Just to provide some info, the new Quidditch game will have player positions, here are the bonuses each position will have:

Chaser: Moves faster while carrying the quaffle.
Seeker: Moves faster when snitch is on the playing field.
Beater: Can press spacebar when near bludger to hit it towards enemies.
Keeper: Moves faster when on defensive side of pitch.

So its mostly speed bonuses. The beaters ability will be a lot like throwing the quaffle- A bar will appear that you can aim as you hold spacebar and when you release spacebar the ball launches in the direction you aim (like old quidditch).

Regardless of your position on the pitch you will be able to catch, throw, and steal the quaffle and also catch the snitch.

The new quidditch game probably wont be done for a while but this is almost definitely going to be how player positions work.

i think maybe the quidditch game should be a bit bigger. easier to see. and plz dont reply with ant smart alec answers of: why dont you get glasses. or something because i already have glasses!
and ive been wondering what this is ever since i joined: does anybody know what that is?
